Transitional Housing

Making a smooth transition

While students are always encouraged to seek their own off-campus housing, FCC does have access to a very limited number of apartments located next door to the campus. These apartments are typically reserved for students, such as international students or students relocating from out of state, who need a little time to get acclimated before searching for a more permanent living situation. Again, these apartments are very limited and awarded on a first-come-first-served basis with priority given to those in greatest need.

Apartment details

In order to accommodate the greatest number of students, students requesting transitional housing assistance are encouraged to share their space with a roommate. Each one bedroom, one bathroom apartment comes fully furnished (furniture, dishes, microwave, etc). A $500 refundable deposit is due to reserve the apartment as well as a non-refundable $150 cleaning deposit. Rent is $500 per month, (including utilities, cable optional) per roommate. Each unit is designed to accomodate three students. The apartments are rented to students for one school quarter, approximately 3 months.
