Study Tours

Stepping out into the world of fashion

FCC study tours are designed to supplement the specialized education students receive in the classroom. Visits to the fashion capitals of the world, such as Los Angeles, New York, and various European countries, adds a whole new dynamic and level of excitement to the theoretical knowledge taught in class.

Tours are arranged so that students make important contacts with designers, showroom representatives, merchandisers, buyers and other industry professionals. In addition, students get to visit important historical and cultural sites, including museums of art and history, churches, and other well-known landmarks. Such exposure not only offers students practical job information, but also a more thorough appreciation of different career paths and lifestyles.

Students who participate in the college's study tours are escorted by FCC administrators and instructors. Students may earn one or two additional academic credits by completing the requirements of the tours. All fashion tours are optional. The cost of participating in a study tour is not included in the price of tuition.
