Accreditation
Fashion Careers College (FCC) is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS) to award Fashion Business and Fashion Design Specialized Associate Degrees and Certificates through 2012. The Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools is listed as a nationally recognized accrediting agency by the U.S. Department of Education. Its accreditation of degree-granting institutions is also recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.
FCC is recognized as an eligible educational institution by the U.S. Department of Education, U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services, Social Security Administration, State Department of Rehabilitation, the Job Training Partnership Act (JTPA) and the Veterans Administration Agency. FCC is also a member of San Diego Workforce Partnership. We are approved by the State of California Bureau of Private Postsecondary and Vocational Education (BPPVE) as we have met the certain minimum standards imposed by the state for degree-granting and vocational institutions on the basis of the state's evaluation of our written application to the state and other information available to the state. We have been granted the maximum five year approval to issue Degrees and Certificates in both Fashion Business and Fashion Design Programs.
